Bianca & Nick - October Wedding in Irmo, SC.

October.

Just breathe that word in. It's my favorite month of the year so naturally the word itself evokes beauty and gloriously crisp air.

Bianca & Nick's wedding was in October (now you know how far behind I am at life), so you can imagine these photos are long overdue in the blogosphere. I think my favorite thing about this wedding was the presence of family. Bianca's family is Italian (think: lots of dancing). Nick's family is from Philadelphia (think: they could beat you up... yet they cried the most). [Don't think me insensitive - I do have evidence.] But their families were very tight-knit. I was in high school choir with Bianca, and her family was like the five-sisters version of the Von Trapp family all throughout my middle and high school years. They all have incredible voices! And have always been beautiful and full of joy. She walked down the aisle to a song we sang back in high school - "This Marriage" by Eric Whitacre (anybody who knows who Eric Whitacre is is probably weeping right now). Google it - it's beautiful. This October wedding was just really sweet to be a part of.

Natalie & Tyler.

I thoroughly enjoy this couple. I've known both of them since I was a freshman at UGA, and what I've learned is that they are a force to be reckoned with. If you gave them two paper clips, a piece of gum, an umbrella, and five minutes, they would probably be able to construct a portal into outer space.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that they are in a different league of creativity than most. All the favors, decorations, and accessories were handmade (the bouquets were made of twigs of fabric flowers) and Natalie got her dress from a local thrift store. Their wedding day represented them so well and it was a joy to be there!

My favorite things about this day were Natalie's bridal photos and some of the happy-accident photos of Natalie & Tyler after their ceremony. It was dark out and so I bumped my ISO up really high, but the grainy effect produced a very nostalgic look that I really love now.

Nevertheless, without further ado, here is Natalie & Tyler's summer wedding. (You can find their engagement photos here.)
